An experienced commercial real estate executive, Michael Saei is the founder and principal of a commercial lending firm, First Financial Capital. Able to roughly double his loan portfolios year over year, Michael Saei is a civil engineering graduate of Baylor University in Texas. 

One component of Baylor University’s mission is to educate men and women for global leadership and service. In part, the university works to achieve this aim through its Center for Global Engagement. The center facilitates a range of global initiatives, including study abroad programs, international internships, and academic conferences abroad. The overarching goal is to help faculty and students understand the benefits of diversity and how local, national, and global issues intersect. 

In addition to sending students and faculty abroad, the Baylor Center for Global Engagement seeks to diversify its home campus by recruiting and supporting international students and scholars. It accomplishes this goal by assisting international students with the visa process as well as integration into campus life. Lastly, the center seeks to increase the community’s exposure to cultural diversity by planning a variety of events throughout the year.
